Compensation for DLN3 Employees

HOURLY RATE: Starting at $21.75 an hour for Standard Cargo Vans and $22.00 an hour for DOT Step Vans (Requires a Non-CDL Class C Illinois License). You can earn up to another $1 an hour with weekly bonuses based on performance.

TENURE INCREASES: To encourage tenure and growth within the company, KDL will adjust pay rates based on routes annually.

WEEKLY EFFICIENCY BONUS: Increases the weekly pay to the be equivalent of an average 8 hours per shift. The purpose of this is to ensure consistency during times of low volume and to encourage efficiency on routes.

WEEKLY RANKING BONUS: Based on Company Scorecard Ranking. Up to a $1 an hour based on your performance, safety focus, and attendance.

ANNUAL PROFIT-SHARING BONUS: Based on Company Scorecard Rankings and Packages Delivered

HOLIDAY INCENTIVE: $3 an hour bonus paid if you work on the following days:

  • Memorial Day

  • Labor Day

  • Black Friday

  • Christmas Eve

  • New Year’s Eve

Education - Next Mile

In partnership with InStride - Full Time employees are eligible for up to $5,250 tuition reimbursement.

Future

401(K): The 401(k) savings plan is offered through Human Interest and allows you to save for your future.

  • You are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan as long as you are full time and 60 days of employment.

  • You can contribute up to 75% of your regular earnings, and up to 85% of your bonus earnings – up to the IRS limit each year. The limit is $23,500 for 2025. If you are age 50 or older you can contribute up to $31,000 in 2025.

  • KDL matches 100% of your contributions up to 1% of your annual compensation, plus 50% of the next 5%.

Compensation for VIL2 Employees

HOURLY RATE: $21.00 an hour

REFERRAL BONUS: Eligible employees who refer an employee will get $100 after they have hit 100 routes. Eligible employees must be employed with KDL and both employees need to be in good standing
